Live, write, or die has become my slogan over on my group blog, All The World's a Page, shared with some very talented authors and editors including Pauline Jones.

There I rant, rave, and interact about writing, PR, publishing, inspiring books I've read, horrors of the day in the news, and wait to see what comments my fellow blog mates may make -

and yet it seems that I am living without dying to write over here on my own individual blog -

I update my 'plog blog' on Amazon pretty frequently, but usually with basic info about signings, panels, things like that...

on Aphrodesia Authors, I make announcements pertinent to my alter-ego, Nikki Alton and her releases

but here I think I'd have to term this blog Mission Impossible 4 -

what can you find out here that you can't find out anywhere else?

I could try to jump off a couple of tall buildings based on the processing of nonsensical geometric formulas similar to (but wrong, she'd fail her class if she did the problem THAT way) those in my daughter's high school text book and stick my finger in a light socket, but wait, that was MI3, the pretty-watchable-MI-movie. Not this blog.

So, here's some one of a kind in one place info and updates and links and stuff:

I'll be holding signings for my romantic suspense THE MODEL MAN at these locations in the coming months:

Westchester, CA Borders May 20
Passadena, CA Borders May 27
South Coast Plaza Costa MesaCA Borders July 15
Oxnard, CA Borders July 22
Santa Barbara, CA Borders July 23

And here's some current blurbs (out just this month!) on that book -

"Genie Davis writes pretty damn well...the book is so sharply observed...and dark edged enough to firmly cross the line into noir." Mark McDermott, Easy Reader

"THE MODEL MAN is ...wacky, witty... romantic, and satisfying..." Nanette, Joyfully Reviewed

"Davis's sharp, snappy writing style is wonderfully entertaining," John Charles, Reader To Reader Reviews

"THE MODEL MAN is a fast paced, made for Hollywood, must read caper... This one is going straight to my keeper shelf." Rosie Bindra, Romance Junkies

AND MEANWHILE....

THE COWBOY anthology containing my Rodeo Man novella written as Nikki Alton

is now available for pre-order on Amazon

If you're not in a buying mood and/or erotic romance isn't for you, you can read my for all-ages travel memoirs -- just in time for your summer vacation planning - for FREE (yes, free) at

You can probably guess that article #1 takes place in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming - it chronicles a road trip from last summer and may take you on a couple of drives you'll not hear a word about anywhere else (that obscure, yeah)

Article #2 is about Gold Country in Northern California.

Okay, that's a lot of news in one place. That's a lot of writing, too, probably enough to keep you reading until the next time I remember THIS IS MY BLOG TOO.

And welcome to it.

Oh and just to make sure you're paying attention, does E = mc2 x D + yz (axis) ~~ $#^ or not?
Make sure you know the answer before you jump off the next roof, okay?

Best,

Genie
